David Beckham is an iconic football player. He is known worldwide as the most influential athlete of the England national team. His life and career both are a great example for all of us.

I was very young when I first saw him on television and due to my never ending love for soccer, he became one of my favorite soccer players since childhood. He has a passion for soccer and it can clearly be seen in all of his games.

Because of his countless game-changing goals, he was signed as a professional Manchester United player in 1993, and that’s the reason why the Manchester United team became my favorite. Beckham remained the captain of England soccer team for six years and earned 58 caps during his administration.

Beckham has remained one of the highest earners in football history. In 2013, he became the highest paid player of all time.

He’s married to Victoria Beckham who is a former actress. Beckham has four children with her. Besides a great footballer, he is also a great husband and father. Like Beckham, his three sons have also played football in the Arsenal Academy.

Beckham has also done charitable work and won numerous awards and honors.

He’s my most favorite athlete, not only because he’s a great footballer, but also because he reminds me of those days when I used to watch his games at my grandma’s place.
